The year 2009 coincides with the 100th anniversary of Peter Drucker¡¯s birthday. The global 11 language versions of Harvard Business Review simultaneously launched columns commemorating Drucker and invited 5 business leaders and the leaders of non-profit organizations in the world, who have maintained the continuity with the Druckers Thoughts, to review their inspirations brought about by Druckers Thoughts on management; Haier CEO Zhang Ruimin is one of them and the other four are: P & G CEO Lafley, Frances Hesselbein (female), Chairman of the Leader to Leader Institute, Oscar Motomura, Senior Director of Amana-Key, a famous management training institution and Peter Paascheke, Managing Partner of Deita, a management consulting company.
